Best. iPod Skin. Ever.

(This was intended to be posted a couple days ago, but various things have made me put it off)

On Saturday I went to cultural fair (Where a certain someone wore a kimono for her booth. :) ) While we were putting stuff away, I noticed someone's iPod sitting on a shelf next to us. It had the most awesome skin ever on it. Pictures follow:
(If you don't know the significance of these, shame on you. :P Go here now.)

If I had an iPod, I would most definitely have this skin. However...I can't find it anywhere. I've Googled all over, but I can't find it. Maybe I'd have to go to an Apple Store, or maybe it's a custom skin. I have no idea, but I can't find it. If I could find a skin like this for my DS.......*drools*

Since the back side is a little fuzzy, here's what it says:
STATION 1 - THE POD
SERIAL # 4-8-15-16-23-42
QUARANTINE
ORIENTATION - [The regular iPod navigation circle]

I have no idea whose this is, so I can't ask them...if anyone has any idea, please let me know ASAP!

EDIT: Apologies if you read it while a big chunk of the second paragraph was gone. It still isn't there, but a short version is. Blogger is really crappy at handling "<"s I've noticed. Darn crappy HTML...(I like HTML, don't get me wrong. I hate that the auto-HTML thing doesn't work.)

EDIT2: GAH! It's even worse than I thought! I have simply gotten rid of the part that wasn't working, since it won't let me do what I want. Grr.

BDay + Cycle

Happy Belated Birthday to me!!!

Yeah.

I have a cycle I follow all the time. It stinks, and it's why I prefer to work at school instead of home. First I start on my assignment. Then I get to a point where I need my book, I look around and it isn't within view nor reach. I get distracted by something on the computer. I do that for a little while, before remembering or seeing my assignment. So I stop the computer thing (don't finish it), and go to start my assignment. I realize I need my book to continue, so I look around and remember that my bag isn't within reach. Not wanting to get up, I noticed my unfinished whatever and start doing that. It just repeats and repeats...

I'm also victim to another cycle, which I wasn't planning on posting about, but my friend wrote a tweet (on Twitter) with a link to it right after I started writing this. Click the post name to see. The only difference is that I don't have the will to pull all-nighters any more...so I don't have much of a "reset"...

As what I'm sure is a result of these, I'm pretty bleh recently...unless it's with a friend (and some more than others), I don't feel like doing anything any more than I feel like sleeping...

Twitter...

So I decided to see what all this Twitter craze was about...doesn't seem much different from FB Status updates, but I can spread Twitter around more place, plus combine the two...so I'll try it out.

I've added the Twitter updates widget to the bottom, here and on ZӘӘ. I don't know if I'll keep it on, but it's here for now. So enjoy it if you like it. :P

Blast from the Past - Through the Fire and the Flames

(Posts starting with "Blast from the Past" are posts that I came up with at work near the beginning of my month and a half non-posting period. More will come once I find my sticky note.)

So now that Guitar Hero III has been out for a bit, everyone knows about DragonForce and Through the Fire and the Flames. It's one of the most well-known songs among gamers. Well, I feel proud to have been a fan long before GHIII. My friend showed me the music video for the song back when it came out, and I've been a fan ever since. I was thrilled to hear it'd be on GHIII, tho it's a weird change from being a fan of a only kind of known band to everyone knowing about them...loss of uniqueness...

It's OK though. I like getting to hear it all the time too. :)

Closure - PS

Alright, I though I should finally finish off that filler post...even though it doesn't apply anymore, and was needed then, not now, I hate leaving stuff unwritten. The thing I was talking about it the "PS type thing" was betrayal. I don't really remember what it was, though I'm sure I could remember if I wanted to, but I know the general subject/reason...and that's a horrible feeling...

It's in the past now tho, so I don't really feel like writing more about it. Sorry if I'm being anticlimactic. :P

Who are you?

OK...if you come by, please comment or something...there are at least three people that have read and none did more than vote...(which...if you look at the current standings...are you guys kidding me? Man...I decided to extend it just to make sure it didn't end like this...) So at least leave a comment on this one saying hi or something...

EDIT: OK, apparently someone voted either while I was writing that, or sometime shortly after...it used to be that everything but "other" had a single vote.

Iron Man

Hm, apparently the last post still went to Thursday...I guess the starting time is what matters, not the publishing time...? Hm...

Anyway, I went to Iron Man at midnight, and it is simply amazing. I can't think of any complaints, except maybe less of a certain scene or two at the beginning. The storyline was awesome, the action was well played out, and there was a great balance of action and plot development. And Stan's scene was awesome. :D I can't say too much more without going into spoilers, which I'd rather not do, so I'll just say I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Definitely the best superhero movie to come out in a long time. 4+ Stars!

Oh, and my friend bought me this awesome Iron Man shirt. He's blasting out of the ground. Very cool. :)

Rings

So this morning I had to get on the later bus (I try for the one a little after 7, but the one a little after 7:30 gets me to school on time too), so while I waited I went into the gas station to get out of the cold (it snowed again...sheesh...). I went over to scan chips and stuff, when suddenly I heard the "be-da-lee" of Sonic getting a coin. It came from over by the checkout counter, so I looked over to see if someone's phone was doing it, since I've seen someone have it as their "new text" sound, but no one pulled their phone out/had it out/was putting it away. I figured it must have been one of the people buying stuff, and they were being polite and not checking it while they were talking to the clerk. But then I heard it again. And again, and again. I couldn't see any source of it, unless there was some toy on the shelf by the counter or something, so I circled around to the other side. Everyone but me left, and the sound didn't go again, so I figured I just missed whoever was doing it. I looked at DVDs for a little while (nothing worthwhile), when there it was again! I looked back at the counter and it happened again. It had to be something behind the counter now, no way the customers at the counter just happened to have the same ringtone/toy, so I slowly walked across the store while watching what could be doing it. Then I saw it. The cashiers had some new touch screen cash registers, and every time they "confirmed" or anything, it would make the Sonic ring sound! I couldn't believe it - first that it would make noise at all, since that would pretty quickly become annoying to both the cashiers and the customers, and second that it would actually be the Sonic sound! I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but that's just funny.

That was everything I intended to post at first, but when I wrote "Rings" for the title, it first reminded me of 'Rings" the movie, and therefore "The Ring" and "The Ring Two" too, then of The Lord of the Rings, so I'll write about each as well.

The Ring is awesome. It's definitely one of my favorite horror/thriller/whatever you prefer to call it movies. Every time I think about it and go look at the cursed video and whatever else, I always get a little obsessed with it...it's definitely very cool and very creepy...I really want to see "Rings" though...I never really knew what it was until I read a synopsis a little while ago, which of course made me want to see it. The Ring Two definitely didn't measure up, but it was still pretty good.

I'm about...4? chapters into The Hobbit. In fact, that's what's keeping me from finishing The Hobbit the videogame...I want to read it in the book before I play it in the game...whatever that case, I need to watch the movies again, and I need to do it some time when I'm very awake and able to pay close attention...

Battle for Middle-Earth is an amazing game by the way. I need to get it from the library again, then the second one again too.

By the way, adding The Ring and LOTR stuff delayed me a day, sorry about that. I should be doing a couple more today though.
